Made mortgage payment (second of eight) on the Gulden Hoofd
Leeuwenhoek went to the Weeskamer, where he paid 200 guilders interest on his mortgage and 400 guilders to reduce the capital. That made a total of 1,400 guilders paid, 3,600 remaining.

On the 8th of May 1657, Anthonij van Leeuwenhoeck brought here two hundred guilders for the year's interest due May 1657 and four hundred guilders in reduction of the capital, from which two hundred guilders the fifty set forth according to fol. 169 verso that goes to Everd Frans must continue to be given to Grietge Jans the children’s mother as counting from that which she had bought from the forenamed Leeuwenhoeck.
Is "bought from" correct? -- van 't gene sij van de voorn. Leeuwenhoeck hadde gecost
