Presented act of guardianship to the Weeskamer after Cornelia's death

A month after the death of his second wife Cornelia, Leeuwenhoek presented to the Weeskamer (orphans' chamber) the act of guardianship that Cornelia had signed on the previous November 21, six weeks before her death.

Op den 12e februarij 1694 is ter weescamer geexhib. Acte van voogdie bij Cornelia Swalmius huijsvrouw van Antoni van Leuwenhouck, Camerbewaarder van de E. Achtb. heeren Schepenen deser stadt den 21en Novemb. 1693 gepasseert voor Adriaen Leuwenhouck Nots. en getuigen binnen deze stadt ende met de doot geconfirmeert waar bij bevonden is de weescamer buijten gesloten te sijn.

Gedaan bij alle de heeren weesmeesteren.

On February 12, 1694, was shown to the Weeskamer the act of guardianship by Cornelia Swalmius housewife of Antoni van Leuwenhouck, camerbewaarder of the Schepenen of this city executed on November 21, 1693, before Adriaen Leuwenhouck notary and witnesses in this city and with the death confirmed the Weeskamer has been closed down.
