Recieved payment for his duties with the magistrates' court

Leeuwenhoek was paid 65 guilders twice on this day as the first two quarterly payments towards his yearly salary of 260 guilders for duties as camerbewaarder of the magistrates' chamber. The official due date was 24 January of each year, by tradition. The other payments in that year were on August 6 and November 10, both for 65 guilders.
