Title translated:
The adventures of an official centipede: the camerbewaarder of the States-General in the time of the Republic
This is the only article I have found that explains what camerbewaarders did. As the title implies, the centipede has enough limbs to do lots and lots of things. The article explains that each jurisdiction developed different tasks for its camerbewaarders. Those of the camerbewaarder in Den Haag give at least a basis of comparison for what the archives tell us about the camerbewaarders in Delft during Leeuwenhoek's time.
