sister Catharina Philips Leeuwenhoek (1637- after 1684), living on Verwersdijk, married Claes Jans van Leeuwen, living on the Choorstraat, registered at the Stadhuis, not one of the churches.
Leeuwenhoek and his bride Barbra were also living in the house at that time. Although Leeuwenhoek bought the house on the Hippolutysbuurt in January, he was not able to move in until May.
